| Peter and Mille. Peter is 85 years old, a really interesting guy, not just a 'dear little man' as I have heard him called. He has a wealth of stories, I am sure and I heard a few. He flew in 84 missions in WWII as a tail gunner. Arguably the most dangerous of the positions. The British had no notion of sending men home after 25 missions. In any case, Peter rescued Millie from a pound, so he has my undying admiration. Yet another angel along the way... I hope we'll meet up again... |
